“Perfection is terrifying, imperfection is charming.” she says.
From Brooklyn with Love

Sometimes, life is kind enough to bring very special people on your way which change completely the perspective you have about a place.

Noemi Bonazzi is this complex and pretty unique combination of generosity, classicism, sophistication and uber-modernity, a revolutionary force.
Her beautiful house in Brooklyn is filled with numerous objects like many stories connected to her past, to other countries and loved ones.

ARCHYVIO: Which object holds a special place in your heart?

NOEMI: My favorite is a vase by Toni Zuccheri for Venini, given to me by friends in 1987. It is the color of the Venetian lagoon.

It feels important to precise that Noemi is Italian and also a very talented set designer, she moved to New York in 1981, worked with Keith Haring, fights along Nan Goldin against big pharma and has impeccable taste.

Today we are presenting a vase made by Berndt Friberg photographed in her very unique bathroom, its color is a very special blue which evokes the Mediterranean sea so close to our hearts.

Oh, and in case you wonder, Noemi loves a garden scented rose. Sorry we only had tulips that day…

We wish you a lovely Summer, we will be back in September with more stories and flowers to share.
