Wade Heath & Co. was established in 1867 in Burslem, England. It originally comprised several different companies founded by various members of the Wade family, and was only finally united as Wade Potteries Limited in 1958.
Among the factories in Burslem producing high grade earthenware that of Wade, Heath and Co. is by no means the least in repute. It was one of three company which (since 1935) comprise the Wade group and its productions include fancy, ornamental and domestic table ware. The company became famous for its production of Art Deco functional products and decorative goods.
