Allan Ebeling

Allan Ebeling (1897-1975) was born in New York City of Swedish parents. He was a sculptor, painter and ceramist. Allan Ebeling lived as a youth in the United States, and move to Sweden in 1908 where he studied at the Technical School and Althins Painting School. In 1921 he became employed by Bo Fajans in Gävle and produced diverse designs for them until 1927. He then decided to focus on his art until his death in 1975. His work is held in the National Museum in Stockholm and the is a museum dedicated to his work in Torshälla where he lived much of his life.
